The big move
This week museum staff packed and moved more than 100 collections objects from GHM galleries to off site storage. Items ranged from a small porcelain bowl to an enormous (and heavy) steam engine to the 215-inch-long Foss Drug sign. Galleries are being quickly emptied and readied for construction which is slated to begin before the end of January.
