Astor House: Life after the Territorial Capital

Housing territorial legislators is what the Astor House is best known for while the territorial capital was located in Golden. However, after the capital moved to Denver, Astor House evolved into the community’s place for boarding and gathering for the next 150 years. Explore the history of Astor House as a place for séances, philanthropy, and the promotion of a diverse and vibrant Golden. Presented by Nathan Richie, Director at Golden History Museum & Park.
