The Golden History Park chickens are on an adventure!
The ten senior chicks are enjoying life in their plush home away from home. Their nearest neighbor is a friendly old horse who is also on a short vacation.
We are very excited to announce that our chickens are vacationing at Jefferson County Fairgrounds while we pour concrete at the coop and barn. This site modification will improve our flock’s daily living situation and add extra security to their nightly home. The flock will return to the coop sometime during the first or second week of June. Upon their return, they will be meeting their new coop mates, the chicks! We anticipate integrating approximately 10 chicks into our current flock of 10 hens. Life on this homestead is always changing and we are looking forward to seeing you at the chicken coop soon!
