Started by the Jefferson County Historical Commission in the 1990s, it was transferred to the Golden History Museum-City of Golden in 2020.

|History||The school was named for Bertha E. Campbell who served as teacher and principal in the Jefferson County Schools for 32 years. Campbell School was built in 1963.|
