This is an early beta version that’s still a work in progress. We hope to develop and refine the contents going forward. In the meantime, we’re making it fully available to the public as-is. Started by the Jefferson County Historical Commission in the 1990s, it was transferred to the Golden History Museum-City of Golden in 2020.

|History||The barn is a small, two-room structure with a loft which was probably used for hay storage (loft door) at one time. Some glass windows, others have been boarded up. The barn is believed to have been constructed 1910-1920. It may have been used at one time by a Mr. Dunn for bootlegging activities. The barn is currently being used as storage for the Chambers family (owners).|
