Started by the Jefferson County Historical Commission in the 1990s, it was transferred to the Golden History Museum-City of Golden in 2020.

|History||The $15,000,000 school opened in 1996 on a 103-acre campus with 34 acres developed and occupied. The technology oriented school offers classes from Red Rocks Community College, a public library, a computer ratio of one to every three students, and six athletic fields or courts.|
