| History | Fruitdale is the name of the original community the park name honors. The Wheat Ridge Recreation Department park was temporarily designated Muegele Park for a family from whom the city had purchased the acreage. At first it was listed only as having a natural environment, but now it is listed as having the following: basketball, bike path, playground, picnic tables, pavilion, rest rooms, and a "natural environment." |
