HistoryHeritage Valley Park was one of 30 parks to be built by the City of Arvada. Citizens approved the bond referendum in 1974 and the park was constructed two years later. The two-acre site was a 6% land dedication from the developer and would relieve the pressure of Secrest Park. This is a basic neighborhood park, bounded on three sides by the Assembly of God Church.
