| History | Rudy and Harlan Long (brothers and partners) built the garage in 1916 and it has operated ever since. The present building is the third structure built because of highway construction and changes. The present garage on Highway 285 approximately four miles southeast of Conifer was built in 1948 and is the only one offering AAA service to surrounding communities. It continues to be operated by members of the Long family. |
