| History | Majestic View Park was one of the 30 parks voted on in the City Bond election of 1974. It was named for an old street, now W. 66th Ave. and for the name of the original subdivision, now Huntington Heights. The park was expanded in 1984. Ten acres of Mr. Harder's land, west of the park, was purchased with Jefferson County Open Space funds, authorized by the Jefferson County Commissioners, in 1986. Tennis courts and horse shoe pits are built on the acquired land. |
