| History | This geographic feature is the tallest mountain closest to the town of Morrison. The town was named for George Morrison, an early resident and presumably a part of the Morrison Lime, Stone and Town Company. The town itself was named "Mt. Morrison" until sometime in the 1940s when the US Post Office shortened the name to "Morrison". |
