| History | Park Street was originally laid out with the Golden Park Addition plat, and may have been named after the addition. Never opened until the 1950s due to its location on impassable terrain, it was renamed 3rd Street by ordinance in 1904. Later, a new Park Street was platted 3 1/2 blocks to the north. |
