| History | The original schoolhouse (1923-1949) was greatly enlarged by the addition of the main hall and restrooms in the early 1950s. Used as a firehouse for the local fire department, 1950-1975. In 1958, the structure was deeded to the Indian Hills Improvement Association. Since 1975 the building has served as the Indian Hills community Center. It is a one-story structure of 2000 sq. ft., with dark brown wooden siding and a gabled roof. |
