History | Bill Peterson, originally from Illinois, moved to Arvada in 1908. He purchased the pool hall and barber shop located in the Wiebelt Building in 1913. Eight years later, Peterson purchased the Arvada Garage from Judge Wilber at 7509 Grandview Avenue. He moved the pool hall, including a lunch counter, to this new location. |
