Summer Fun at Clear Creek History Park

It’s finally here! Summer (okay, late spring) is upon us! We herald in the season with a bunch of fantastic programs. May 31st is Homesteaders’ Day at Clear Creek History Park. The park will be abuzz with all sorts of living history programming, demonstrations and games. The doors of the buildings will be flung open and welcome visitors for an open house. Be sure to stop by the Reynolds Cabin and participate in some of our popular Hands-on History activities (this is a great opportunity for adults to try the fun things that are normally only reserved for kids).

Hooping it up at the Golden Music Festival

June 13-15 is the Golden Music Festival. Enjoy three days of the best bluegrass music the Front Range has to offer. Tickets to the event are on sale now and can be purchased for either a single day or multiple days. This year we are also proud to announce a special VIP ticket that provides access to the Golden Moon Distillery sample lounge, two free drink tickets, a GHM pint glass, and a preferred access line at the Beverage Stations.

On September 13th, join us for the inaugural program “Golden Frontier Olympics!” Put together a team and compete in some fun—and sometime silly—events in our pioneer Olympiad. Demonstrate your Nerf sharpshooting skills, relay with the Pony Express and save the town on the bucket brigade. Compete for prizes and enjoy delicious food and beer. Olympians are $15 each and spectators are free!

Be sure to check out our events calendar for times and details!
