Spend Nothing Governor: John C. Vivian
Serving two terms as Governor of Colorado (1943-1947), John C. Vivian is, to date, the only Golden resident to be elected to the office. Due to his penchant for collecting, the Museum holds an extensive collection of documents and photos that give a snapshot of his life from campaign posters and report cards to signed photos from politicians and presidents.
