Icon of the American West – the Western Horse
Join us for an evening celebrating the Western Horse and the indelible mark they’ve made on the West. There’s a reason why horse theft was considered on par with murder! Horse thieves, stock detectives, famous rodeo horses, the survivors of the Little Big Horn and more tales from yesteryear featuring the horses themselves and the people who loved (most of) them.
About the Presenter
Randi Samuelson-Brown is a native of Colorado, originally from Golden. Her ancestors came to the state in the 1880s/1890s, a fact she is proud of. She is the author of Market Street Madam, an award-nominated historical fiction set in a vice-riddled Denver and Leadville during the 1890s.
